Categories
The Convenience Retail Awards recognise outstanding all-round retailers in three categories: independent, multiple (10 stores or more) and large store (3,000-10,000sq ft). A number of shortlisted candidates in each of these three categories are invited to finals night where awards are presented for:
- Best Independent Convenience Store
- Best Multiple Convenience Store
- Best Large Convenience Store
One of these three winners is then be named as our overall champion - the Convenience Retailer of the Year.
In addition, we present a number special category awards to retailers who can demonstrate excellence in a number of key disciplines within retailing, namely:
- Best Customer Service
- Responsible Retailing Award
- Best Food to Go Retailer
- Best Chilled Food Retailer
- Best Seasonal Grocery Display
- Product of the Year
- Excellence in Impulse Award
- Category Management Award
- Independent News Trader of the Year
- Zero Tolerance Award for Crime Prevention
- Best Wholesale Business Initiative
- Lifetime Achievement Award
